A MAN has been convicted of using threatening behaviour towards another person.
Aaron Zawierski, of Denholme Road, Park South, had denied the offence, on October 20 last year, but he was found guilty at trial on March 9.
Sentencing him, magistrates in Swindon imposed a 12-month community order and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £150.

Stealing a set of car keys and a laptop valued at £500 from a home in Devizes Road will see a man sentenced in the crown court.
When Tommy Burton, 34, currently of no fixed address, appeared before Swindon magistrates he admitted the offence on March 30.
However, they sent the matter to the crown court for sentencing on a date to be set.
Burton also admitted stealing a Now TV box valued at £10.99 from Cash Generators on February 29. The magistrates fined him £50 and ordered him to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

A woman who breached her restraining order by posting harassing comments on social media about her victim has been slapped with a community order.
Kimberley Barton, 51, of Melfort Close, Sparcells, admitted posting the harassing comments online between December 1 last year and January 20 of this year, despite a restraining order being imposed on October 23.
Magistrates in Swindon imposed a community order on her, and ordered her to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.

A woman who ignored a temporary speed restriction on the M4 has found herself before magistrates.
Joanna Barry, of Cross Street, pleaded guilty to breaking the 50mph speed limit on the M4 between junctions 17 and 18 on March 8 of this year.
Magistrates in Swindon fined the 27-year-old £80 for the offence and also ordered she pay a £20 victim surcharge. Three penalty points were endorsed on her licence.

A man who denies assaulting a police officer will stand trial for the offence.
Musa Magani of Hatherall Closee, Stratton St Margaret, denies the offence dating from Christmas Eve of last year.
The 29-year-old has been released on unconditional bail by magistrates to appear at Chippenham Magistrates’ Court on May 25 for the trial.
