POLICE appealing for witnesses - especially those with dashboard cameras - after a cyclist was hurt in a hit and run incident.

A white van collided with the cyclist on the Mannington Roundabout at around 8.30am on Saturday, July 9. Police said the driver of the van did stop briefly to check on the rider but then drove off without giving his details.

The cyclist sufferd a dislocated finger and a cut to his head which needed stitches and grazes.

PC Steve Hutton said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this collision, especially if you have a vehicle fitted with a dash cam which may have captured the incident.
