WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for a witness to come forward after reports of a man indecently exposing himself in the Penhill area of Swindon.

The incident happened on Monday 21 June 2016 between 5pm and 6.30pm on the footpath between Pond Street and Orchid Close.

Two women were walking along the path when a man indecently exposed himself to them. Soon afterwards they met another woman in the same area who said she also had seen a man indecently exposing himself. The women were unharmed, although slightly shaken.

PC Tom Crabtree said: "We would like to speak to this third woman to help us with our enquiries.

"If you were walking or exercising along that footpath between 5 and 6.30pm on Monday 21 June and you spotted a naked man, please contact me."

Acting Sergeant Claire Smith said: "We have had a number of reported indecent exposure incidents in this area recently which we don't believe are linked, however we are keeping an open mind.

"An investigation is on-going to identify and locate these offenders and we would advise the public to be vigilant and be aware of their surroundings and people around them when out walking, running or enjoying a public space.

"We would ask anyone who sees any suspicious activity to report it to police."
