SIT in the sunshine and enjoy a refreshing tipple in Old Town over the bank holiday weekend at the Pig on the Hill’s Beer and Cider Festival.
Revellers can wet their whistle with an impressive range of beers, ales, ciders and gins to try and buy at the pub, with third-of-a-pint tasters available for those want to broaden their palettes without breaking the bank.
The event kicks off today and boasts an outside bar for beer and cider, plus another outside bar with more than 50 gins and several mixers and garnishes.
A hog roast, street food, and children’s face painting will be on offer from noon on Saturday and Sunday, with ice cream and nibbles available throughout the festival.
Local band The Tribe will play an acoustic set at the pub on Sunday at 3pm.
