A MAN who is accused of sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl is to face trial by judge and jury.
Philip Derham is said to have touched the youngster on a number of occasions during a six week period last autumn.
The 38-year-old denied five counts of sexual activity with a child and one of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Derham, of Buckingham Road, Lawn, pleaded guilty to two other counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He admitted twice getting her to send him photographs of herself in a state of undress between the start of September and mid-October.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday, October 16, and released him on conditional bail until then.
