A PEARL necklace and gold watch were among items stolen from a burglary in West Swindon.
Burglars broke into the house on Melfort Close, Sparcells, on Monday, October 16, between 7.30am and 4.50pm.
They took items of “huge” sentimental value, including a ladies’ gold double chain watch, a men’s black strap Fossil watch and a three strand pearl necklace.
Police have appealed for any information that could help them track down the stolen jewellery.
PC Christopher Wickham said: “The items stolen during this burglary have huge sentimental value to the owner and we would really like to be able to return them to the owner.
“These pictures are not exact images of the items taken, but they are very similar. Can you provide us with any information on who could be responsible? Did you see or hear anybody acting suspiciously?
“This has been very distressing for the victim.”
Anyone with information should contact PC Christopher Wickham on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
