Nominations wanted for outstanding community policing

THE public are being asked to nominate a community police officer who stands out for their work in policing their area.

The Wiltshire Police Authority Service to the Community Award aims to recognise exceptional service made by individuals within a Neighbourhood Policing Team.

They could be an officer, Police Community Support Officer, Special Constable, or a volunteer.

The WPA want to hear about someone who has gone the extra mile and made a big difference to their community beat.

To make a nomination explain briefly why the nominee is worthy to the WPA offices by Friday, March 2. Those shortlisted will attend a presentation on March 27 where the winner will receive the WPA Service to the Community Award and all shortlisted nominees get a certificate.
