Golfers plan a fun Spanish day

A spanish golf day is being held to raise money in memory of golfer Seve Ballesteros.

On May 22 a little piece of Spain will come to Wrag Barn Golf and Country Club in Highworth, as the 2012 club captain Steve Griffiths and ladies’ captain Juliet Platt will be hosting a golf challenge and Spanish experience in aid of research into brain cancer.

The format for the day will be a better ball stableford pairs competition and there will be the chance to win in putting, chipping and “beat the pro” competitions.

Entry is in groups of four and the cost of the day will be £50 a person, including catering and green fees. Download an entry form at www.wragbarn.com.
