Heartfelt joy at boost by Swindon's Heart Foundation

THE Swindon branch of the British Heart Foundation has generated £27,595 over the past year through various fundraising initiatives and donations.
Keith Smith, committee chairman, said he was surprised and thrilled the the branch had raised such a total in difficult economic times.
“It is clear that the people of Swindon remain open hearted and generous and recognise the huge contribution the British Heart Foundation makes in the ongoing fight against heart attacks and heart disease,” he said.
The BHF is the nation’s heart charity, raising funds for pioneering research that saves and improves lives of vulnerable men, women and children who have heart problems.
