Ryanair has issued a warning to Facebookers to beware of a fake promotion which is doing the rounds on social media.
The scam urges people to part with personal details after claiming the airline is “gifting two free tickets to everyone” after “completing 32 years.”
The post also includes an image of a fake boarding pass, complete with barcode and the Ryanair logo, and it comes from the site address ryanair-bookings.us.

Some users have claimed it is coming from other fake sources as well.
However, in a short statement on its verified social media page early this morning, the airline giant told its 2.3 million followers: “Warning, don’t be fooled by this scam page.
“This is not an official Ryanair account or promotion.
“Remember, if it doesn’t have the ‘blue tick’ verification, it’s not the official Ryanair account.”
