AUSTRALIAN cricket ace Shane Warne stepped up to the crease in the Glades shopping centre last weekend to sign copies of his new book.
Just a week after terrorising England's batsmen, one of the world's finest spin bowlers was charming cricket fans when he visited Ottakar's bookshop.
He met fans and signed copies of Shane Warne My Autobiography.
Ottakar's manager Cheryl Mendham said: “Shane was a pleasure to meet and enjoyed chatting to the hundreds of fans who came along to see him. He was warmly greeted by Glades shoppers who were very welcoming, especially considering he's just spent this summer thrashing the English team.”
RESIDENTS at a Highworth retirement development enjoyed meeting broadcaster and comedian Don Maclean so much that they want him to move in.
