Museum is turning fifty
OLD TOWN: The Swindon Museum and Art Gallery is celebrating its 50th birthday this weekend with a number of special events.
As part of the Heritage Open Weekend, the museum will have a 1961 Mercedes and a 1965 Austin Healey on display, plus historians from the Swindon Society, Swindon Heritage Magazine and Central Library Local Studies.
The museum will be open on Saturday from 10am to 3pm and on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
