Motion to close Averies
SWINDON: Measures available to the council to hold Averies Recycling Ltd to account for the 57 day blaze at their Marshgate site will be considered tomorrow at the meeting of full council.
A motion calling for the leader of the council to explore options to have the site closed down, and another to launch a full public inquiry into the cause of the fire, will both be tabled during the meeting, from 7pm in the Council Chambers of the Civic Offices, and is open to members of the public.
