Under 11

Division 1

Swindon Supermarine J suffered defeat on their debut in division one against Forest Green Rovers. Forest Green started more brightly and took the lead though an unfortunate own goal after a Ben Dixon back pass slipped under the feet of Marine Keeper Josh Pickett. Forest Green then went two up shortly after with a neat finish with a one on one with the hosts keeper and added another before the half.

Forest Green again started the stronger in the second half and the hosts had Josh Pickett to thank for a string of fine successive saves. Marine grew stronger as the half progressed, eventually scoring when Harry Johnson poked home from a Luke Legg corner. Marine had a couple of good chances to score but there were to be no further goals in a game where the home side created enough chances to draw.

Division 3

Despite a valiant effort from Swindon Rangers, including four goals from Harrison Crook, and one from Jamie Watson they lost 7-5 to South Cerney.

Abbey Meads started well against Hungerford with goals from Nathan Goodenough (one), Dejan Broja (one) and Imogen Wilkins (two) in the first half.

However after the break Hungerford came back battling to get the score back to 4-3. Though excellent team play and Abbey Meads ‘keeper Brandon Ricketts ensured a narrow win. Ryan Martin was awarded man of the match for excellent defensive skills.

Under 12

Division 1

In the midweek fixture Wanborough beat Highworth Town Juniors in a spirited match. Two first half goals from Liam O'Reilly and Will Sumner set the platform but Highworth’s James Whettam gave his side hope just before the break. Tom Moore made the game safe for Wanborough in the second half. At the weekend Highworth Town notched a well-earned 4-2 away win at Croft Juniors FC Red. Cameron Hicks set the away side on the road to victory with Bilal Durdu getting two and the other from an own goal. Highworth goalkeeper, Josh Wright, who made some superb stops, was man of the match.

Division 4

A closely fought match between Abbey Meads Colts and Avebury ended in a 2-2 draw. Avebury took an early lead and almost added a second from the penalty spot but were denied by a great save by Joshua Hodson. Abbey Meads fought back in the second half and levelled the score with a penalty by James Ejsmont. Jack Cremin then put them ahead before Avebury struck a late equaliser.

Under 13

Division 1

In a very even game Abbey Meads just out did Wootton Bassett Blue by 2-1. Meads dominated early on and Brandon Lewis gave them a deserved lead. Bassett made it 1-1 before Ben Dodd gave Meads a 2-1 lead. In a very even second half Bassett missed a penalty late on, with Chelsea Babieri outstanding in defence for Abbey Meads.

Under 14

Division 2

Ramsbury held a 2-1 lead at half-time in what was a passionate and physical encounter as both teams looked to get a foot hold on the game. However five second half goals from Ferndale without reply resulted in a 2-6 win. Ferndale's goalscorers were Xavi Diaz-Butcher, Kyle Meader-Harris (pen) and Dawid Osinski, their player of the match, with four.

Division 3

Ferndale Rodbourne Colts recorded a well-deserved win during their midweek fixture against Wootton Bassett White. Ben Simons scored the opening goal of the game with an excellent free kick with Ferndale's player of the match, Bailey Gunning adding the other two goals during the second half.

At the weekend Castle Combe took an early lead but Ferndale equalised soon after with a goal from Lucas Peachey. Both goalkeepers made several good saves throughout to ensure the score remained 1-1 and Ben Simons put in a player of the match performance for Ferndale.

Under 15

Division 3

Two goals by Keenan Burton for Croft Blue were not enough to stop Chiseldon taking all three points in a very closely contested match. Against Croft White, Wootton Bassett White were the quickest out of the blocks with two goals in the first 15 minutes. A spectacular Eldan Vas free-kick on the half-way line and a Kevin Rai strike levelled the scores before the break.

In the second half Croft took control with two goals from Thomas Arnold and one apiece from Kaiden Cinquegrai and Sandesh Thapa.

Under 17/18

Division 1

Swindon Supermarine U17/18 got their first win of the season in the midweek fixture, when they visited Purton last Wednesday evening. A closely fought contest was eventually decided by a smart four-man move, finished by Brendor Nkegbe, which resulted in the only goal of the match. Solid defending and a couple of top draw saves from Alex Cook ensured the visitors kept a clean sheet to earn all three points.

Division 2

Goals from Lewis Wickens (three) and Jack Ahrens (four) for Blunsdon earned a 7-0 victory over Wanborough, with Ryan Hawkin keeping another clean sheet for Blunsdon.
