GREENMEADOW continued their unbeaten run in Under 12 Division One with a 4-0 win over a good Supermarine team.

Marine played well as a unit and gave Greenmeadow a good game, but Greenmeadow kept a seventh consecutive clean sheet and scored goals through Felipe Diaz, Max Whitfield and Rowan Doyle, who netted twice.

Bilal Durdu and Cameron Hicks both scored braces as Highworth Town Juniors H U12 beat Stratton Juniors Black 6-1 at the Rec.

Louis Rendell and Beyazit Durdu also scored for the home side.

Under 12 Division 4

AN ENTERTAINING game between FC Abbey Meads Colts and Malmesbury Youth Tornados saw both teams create chances in the first half.

Matthew Weir, Charlie Eustice and Andrew Smith all went close for FC Abbey Meads, and Joshua Hodson made several great saves in the Colts’ goal to deny Malmesbury.

Eventually, the breakthrough came early in the second half when Andrew Smith finished superbly to put FC Abbey Meads ahead. He almost added a second minutes later but saw his shot come back off the crossbar Malmesbury fought back and scored an equaliser before adding a second to put them ahead.

James Ejsmont went close to an equaliser for FC Abbey Meads but saw his free kick go inches over the bar and it finished 2-1 to the Tornadoes.

Highworth Town Juniors J had a good shout for a penalty turned away by the referee early on in their clash against Lydiard Youth Black, for whom Jack Timbrell had a solid game in defence.

The game was won by the high energy levels of the Lydiard midfield and two superb finishes from the lively Sam Jones.

Under 13 Division 2

BEN Dood scored the only goal for FC Abbey Meads Youth as they overcame a competitive Ramsbury team.

Tom Stokoe pulled off some superb saves for Ramsbury, while Lewis Swatridge and Tyler Hammick were both in fine form for Abbey Meads Under 14 Division 3 FERNDALE recovered from going a goal down to record an excellent 3-1 win against Marlborough Youth.

Playing some positive attacking football, there were two goals from their player of the match Lucas Peachey, including a fine lobbed finish.

A close range goal from Dan O'Brien completed the triumph.

Under 15 Division 3

WITH top of the table Calne only turning up with 10 players, Croft Blue took the game to them.

However, Calne took the lead, only for Keenan Burton to net for Croft to bring them level by half time.

In the second period, Calne went down to nine players after a head injury and they then took a 2-1 lead. But Darren Almeida pulled Croft level.

For a third time, Calne took the lead only for Harrison Kerly to grab the draw for Croft.

Under 11 County Cup

FC ABBEY Meads were immediately pushing for the first goal in their clash against Melksham United A.

It arrived at 24 minutes following a pass from Jack Lampard to Dejan Broja who fired it into the back of the net.

Melksham came straight back and Meads keeper Brandon Ricketts came out of his line to stop a shot.

The visitors came back after eight minutes with a terrific shot just getting past the hands of the keeper.

Meads kept the pressure up with a pass from Imogen Wilkins through to Jack Lampard who calmly pushed it to the back of the net.

With all the attacking now coming from Meads, a shot came in with Melksham’s keeper stopping it in its tracks.

The goal kick was taken getting to the halfway line where Meads’ Kevin Prouse was there to take the bounce to his feet and then score the final goal.
