ADI Rai bagged a brace to help Sevenfields United under 16s record just their second win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Liden Community.

Liden took the lead with a 30-yard drive but were soon pegged back by Jordan Hendon.

Sevenfields then found themselves behind again but were level at the break thanks to Owen Lewis’ effort.

After the restart, Sevenfields began to assert themselves and Rai’s brace, coupled with a goal from Patty Braganza, wrapped up the win.

UNDER 16 Division 2

Highworth Town Juniors continued their winning run with a hard-fought 2-1 success at home to Brinkworth Cats Red.

Aaron Aryee gave the hosts a first-half lead with a superb long-range strike, only for Brinkworth to draw level.

Highworth were not to be denied however and Ollie Mulraney raced through to score and secure the win with seven minutes to go.

UNDER 12

Division 1

Two goals apiece from Jack Holder and Jack Lancaster and one from Billy Saunders guided Wootton Bassett to a 5-2 win at Liden.

UNDER 14

Division 2

Harry Trueman got both goals as Supermarine edged to a 2-1 win on the road at Ramsbury.

Marine started well and took the game to Ramsbury but did not take their chances. However, the visitors got themselves ahead when a Ramsbury goal-kick fell to Trueman and he lashed into the net.

Ramsbury started strongly in the second half but Supermarine hit back as Sudin Gurung played in Trueman to make it 2-0.

The home side responded and cut the deficit from a corner, and then continued to push for the draw.

Swindon had the chance to nick a third goal before the end when the Ramsbury keeper cleared straight to Ryan Pearce but his first-time effort came back off the bar.

Division 3

Ferndale overcame a spirited Liden side as they won an entertaining 4-2 thriller.

Goals for Keiran Dodson, Dinesh Gurung and two for Harry Johnson, including a superb header, wrapped up the win for Ferndale, who named Danny Dullea as man of the match.
