CHIPPENHAM Town boss Mark Collier admits his side have "lost a bit of their mojo'' after surrendering their unbeaten Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division home record to Redditch United on Saturday.

The Midlands visitors remained level on points at the top with leaders Leamington as second-half goals from Ashley Sammons, Luke Shearer from the penalty spot and Max Loveridge secured a 3-0 victory at Hardenhuish Park and stretched the Bluebirds' winless run in all competitions to six.

The defeat dropped Collier's troops out of the play-off places they have been virtually ever-present in since the start of the season, but the manager insists there is no sense of panic despite the undeniable dip in their form.

"We're a bit short on confidence at the moment and there's no doubt that we haven't been on top of our game recently,'' said Collier.

"We've been below-par for a couple of weeks and that happens to players. We're having our little downtime at the moment.

"They've lost a bit of mojo, but we're aware we've been below par and now is the time that we've all got to stick together and just get ourselves to the other side of it.

"There's no panic. It's a little dip and I'd expect that to happen to every side at some point in the season.

"We're still there - in and around the play-off zone which is where we have wanted to be and we're in poor form.

"But we know we haven't become a bad side overnight and we'll just continue working at it.''

Collier admitted the Bluebirds let the Redditch game get away from them in the second half, while his side's wobbles have thrown up some interesting selection issues with a trip to Bridgwater Town in the Red Insure Cup second round on Tuesday evening.

"The first half (against Redditch) was reasonably tight and there were a couple of chances either way,'' he added.

"But we let a poor goal in early in the second half and when the penalty went in it showed that we were short on confidence.

"We've got two thoughts on what to do with the Bridgwater game. Do you get confident by not playing or do you need that extra game to get your confidence back? There will probably be one or two changes, but we'll have a look at it.''
