SWINDON Supermarine have made their first two new signings ahead of the 2016/17 Southern League season.
Zak Westlake and Callum Parsons have both agreed to move to the Webb’s Wood Stadium for the coming campaign, with the duo amongst nine players to sign registration forms at Marine following a meeting with the club’s management last night.
Josh Parsons – the brother of new recruit Callum – is amongst those who have agreed to remain with Dave Webb’s side for another year, alongside Ryan Morgan, Tyron Leigh, Matt Bulman, Connor Thompson, Joe Shepherd and Bradley Gray.
Callum Parsons can play in midfield or as a forward and makes the step up to Southern League level from near neighbours Highworth Town in the Hellenic League, while Westlake is a defensive player who joins from fellow Division One South & West side North Leigh United.
