THE draw for the first qualifying round of the FA Cup has been made, with Chippenham Town, Swindon Supermarine, Frome Town and Highworth Town all involved.

Chippenham Town are the only local side to have been drawn at home in the latest stage of the cup, which takes place next month, and they will host either Whitchurch United or Moneyfields.

Chippenham and Frome both enter the competition at the first qualifying round and will have to travel to either Salisbury or Bitton in their fixture.

Swindon Supermarine, who have made a flying start to the season with three wins from three, will have to visit either Portishead Town or Shepton Mallet, providing they can get past Odd Down in this weekend’s preliminary round.

Highworth are also still in contention – they have to play Ardley United next weekend for the right to face either Eastbourne United or Newhaven.

First qualifying round games will take place on September 3, with the winners taking home a cheque for £3,000 from the FA Cup prize fund.
