Where In The World
HERE'S Ian Nicholson pictured in Quebec City in Canada recently. Ian, who works for BT at North Star and lives in Shaw, is stood holding a copy of the Adver outside the Chateau Frontenac. He had travelled to Canada with his wife and daughter, touring around Ontario and Quebec. "We thought Quebec City was beautiful, just like a piece of old France in North America, with narrow cobbled streets, beautiful architecture and lots of history," said Ian. "Quebec City is the only walled city north of Mexico in North America. "The picture was taken on the boardwalk overlooking the Saint Lawrence River, outside the Chateau Frontenac which is said to be the most photographed hotel in the world. We didn't stay in the hotel, but took a guided tour of the building."
