| Querns Westonbirt pupils at the Tutenkamen exhibition |
Parents have never seen their children so happy since they joined Querns Westonbirt. They've all got stuck into the wide range of sporting and extra-curricular opportunities offered at the preparatory school.
A genuine family atmosphere flourishes on the private rural estate shared with the girls' senior school.
Facilities include a new sports centre and indoor swimming pool, a large theatre, science and design technology laboratories, purpose-built art studios and a school chapel with resident chaplain.
The 250 acre grounds include many sports pitches, courts and tracks, plus plenty of idyllic places to play, such as a woodland adventure playground, a new Early Years corner with Wendy House and pedal cars, and ample fields for impromptu football practice at playtime.
This idyllic setting for education is surrounded by safe and peaceful countryside.
The school has undertaken to keep class sizes to a maximum of 18, ensuring an extremely low pupil to teacher ratio and ample individual attention for every child. The provision of after-school childcare until 5.30pm - with an ever-changing and popular mix of activities for all ages - is the perfect solution for working parents who want the best for their children.
Parents may also be spared from the school run by the school's private bus service which serves many Wiltshire and Gloucestershire towns and villages.
In a recent survey, 97 per cent of parents whose children who go to Querns Westonbirt said they would speak highly of the school to their friends and neighbours.
If you would like to find out more about what makes Querns families so happy, please do not hesitate to call the school on 01666 881390, or visit www.querns.gloucs.sch.uk
On Thursday, May 8, there will be an Open Morning from 8.30am until noon. Everyone is welcome.
