Police are turning members of the public away from Savernake Forest as they ramp up their own search for missing 22-year-old Sian O'Callaghan .
Officers at Postern Hill, close to the main picnic area in the forest, are asking people arriving to help with the search to stay away for the time being.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police has denied reports that they have made a significant discovery.
She said: "No nothing found - this is misinformation."
Police are closing down on a smaller area of the forest and are being helped by members of the Wiltshire Search and Rescue Team (WILSAR).
Anyone with information should call Wiltshire Police on 0845 408 700 and select option 8, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
