We are ex-Wroughton residents and even though we now live on the other side of the world this news has deeply saddened us.

Our thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of Sian. As parents we can't begin to imagine the pain of your loss.

This must be a most awful time for you all. Hold tight to the best memories and try, if you can, to see past the horrible ones. Sian is at peace now - may you find peace too. You did a brilliant job of publicising the need to find Sian - take courage from the immense response you generated from the people of Swindon.

I find it hard to know what to say. I am so saddened by this.

Earlier this week, I started to read and post on the Facebook 'Help' group, in the hope that somehow - somewhere, Sian would be found safe and alive and well.

At one point I really prayed for her safe return to her loved ones.

After reading all the wonderful things her friends and the people of Swindon were saying about Sian - I started to feel as if I knew her a little.

There is no way to measure what family and friends go through at a time like this. We, those who did not know her, can only say that we're sorry, but we cannot pretend to understand how this feels.

To Sian: I would have been very proud to know you and count you among one of my friends. From your beautiful smile you can tell you have a lovely spirit and that you would have made me laugh. Because of this, for the first time in years, I'm praying again. Rest in peace. x

To Sian's family and friends: I am so sorry for your loss. Sian had a lot of love in her life and that is thanks to you all. In time, I pray you can live with the happy memories.

A mention also goes to the accused's daughters, people of Swindon show your class and give them the respect they deserve, they don't deserve a murderer for a father, I hope they are allowed to live their lives in peace.

A tragic end to this story, which has gripped not just the people of Swindon but nationwide. If any good has come out of this sorry case, it has to be the fact that community spirtit is still alive and the people of Swindon have shown that this past week. Our streets are now safer with this monster off them and I hope that he spends the rest of his life behind bars.
R.I.P Sian, at least now you can be put to rest in a dignified way manner, instead of an unmarked grave. And I hope that the second body will be recovered soon so that he/she can be put to rest too.
Well done to Wiltshire Police for the speed in which you have worked on this case and for locating the car so soon after rleeasing details.

So close to home , it feels part of you, never, no not us, not here, BUT IT IS. Yet nationwide we need to stand united. ? PLEASE, stand and be counted, as the public, THE MAJORITY, THE MASSES, we own the streets, do not be fooled, a single person can make a major difference in this world we owe it to poor young victims like SIAN. I'm biteing my lip, but hopeing for support, not sure what? not sure when? but I know the country may agree with me. No More Mr Nice Person, you pre meditate the action? You expect the conciquence. I wanna grab a gun and retribute, however we know we are not allowed, so for all the poor souls, for once in your life...DO IT .. If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.

Loves tender loss.

While raindrops whisper on your window pane.
And the wind blows through the trees,
Let just the love and joy we knew remain.
Remember me when gazing up at evening stars,
Looking down on you with sparkling eyes.
Remember me when awoken by early bird song,
And I will always be there on the sunrise smiling down on you.

And when alone and your thoughts do turn to me,
Know that I would not have you cry.
But live and laugh with our friend for me.
Always remember when you are feeling sad,
That I will be there with you to help you remember how to smile.
And while you live I shall never die.

Like many others I didnt know you personally, although your face is familiar, Its a terrible tragedy that has befallen Swindon, and united them in sadness and sorrow, for one so young and beautiful, taken so drastically and cruelly, I can only imagine how Sians Partner Kevin and her family are now feeling, Please take comfort in the knowledge that Swindons residents plus many from far and near are thinking of you in your hour of need. Also heartfelt sympathy to the family of the other victim. Taken by a person who had no right to do so. My thoughts also go out to the killers family, who are as innocent as the rest of us in this. God Bless Sians family and the other family, and may he hold you in his arms and help you through the coming days and years without your beloved children. Sian and Unnamed Victim. R.I.P to both.

I don't live in Swindon, I am a stranger to the O'Callaghan family. My only link, like millions of others, has been via the words and pictures that have been broadcast since this tragic story began. And yet I feel a deep sense of loss and an overwhelming sadness for Sian. I am shedding tears for this beautiful young woman, someone who I could never have been fortunate enough to meet. Yet the grief I feel in my heart is nothing compared to the indescribable agony of her partner, her family and her many, many friends.
