DETECTIVES have been given even more time to quiz the man held on susupicion of two murders.
As the search for a possible second body continues magistrates in Swindon gave officers 36 additional hours to hold the suspect, believed to be taxi driver Chris Halliwell.
A police spokesman said: "The 47-year-old man arrested on suspicion of kidnap and two murders appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court this morning where an application was made for a warrant of further detention.
"An extension was granted which will end at approximately 3:15am Monday, March 28.
"This takes into account the change to British Summer Time.
"The man remains in custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon."
