TOWN manager Paolo Di Canio pitched in to help Robins' fans clear snow from the County Ground last night - meaning today's game can go ahead.

The SN1 pitch was carpeted with up to a foot of snow following Friday's heavy snowfall but the club put out a plea for supporters to shovel it away and Reds boss Paolo was on hand to help too.

Rumours abound on Twitter that he even bought pizza for those dedicated fans who turned up and stayed late into the night.

Swindon will take on Shrewsbury Town in their League One encounter at 3pm today and fans are advised to take care on the roads and travel early.
