Swindon Advertiser

Sheryl Crouch
The people of Swindon have a long and proud record of supporting charity initiatives in the town. Our job as the local newspaper is to highlight those good causes which make a real difference in the community and throw our weight behind them. We believe Swindon Cares will change lives for the better, not just once, but year in, year out. We feel proud and privileged to be involved with such a worthwhile cause and will do everything we can to ensure that it is a success.

Nationwide

Hayley Milin
Nationwide has a strong history of involvement in community projects and is firmly committed to supporting the communities from which it has grown. Through sponsorship, fundraising and other activities, Nationwide supports hundreds of events and initiatives across the country each year. We have always been fully supportive of the Swindon community and are delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile project, which will benefit many people.

Rotary Club of Swindon

Nicky Alberry
The Rotary Club of Swindon, founded in 1926, is proud to continue its tradition of supporting the local community as a partner in a new initiative for the 21st Century - Swindon Cares. Building on strengths within the community to help those locally who are disadvantaged must be a priority for the future well being of the town. Swindon Cares provides the Rotary Club of Swindon with the springboard of working alongside other local organisations for the good of the community not just now but for the future. Swindon Cares will help local people and groups achieve their full potential through continued support and involvement - an ideal the Rotary Club of Swindon has held for over 75 years.

Zurich

Pam Webb

Jane O’Driscoll
Zurich has had a community programme in Swindon for over 25 years, which combines donations from our staff with an annual contribution from the business. Our local annual grant programme provides support to many local voluntary organisations. In addition we have an active employee volunteer programme where over 1,000 of our Swindon based staff share their professional and personal skills volunteering in the Community. Zurich seeks to be a responsible corporate citizen and considers it an important part of successful business performance. We are therefore very pleased to support this Swindon Cares initiative and help to encourage schools and businesses to support the people of Swindon.

Swindon Borough Council

Claire Hall

Swindon Borough Council is committed to serving the community and improving the environment by offering support and encouragement to partnerships and charities such as Swindon Cares. The Council believes this exciting new partnership that comprises Swindon Cares will improve the quality of life for many people not just for this year but also for years to come. Therefore we feel proud to be able to give our support to this worthwhile venture.

BBC Radio Swindon

Bringing the whole of Swindon to your doorstep BBC Radio Swindon 103.6 FM. Your very own BBC Local Radio station was launched on November 11th 2002 by Swindon legend - writer, broadcaster & former Champion jockey - Jonh Francome. We are very proud & privileged to be associated with Swindon Cares. Over the years Children In Need and Comic Relief have helped us raise money to put back into the local community. Recently, as part of the BBC Voices Project, we set up a shop in the Parks & Walcot area of Swindon to get even more involved with local people and the issues that affect them. Together we can provide a specific service that makes a real difference in the community - BBC Radio Swindon 103.6 FM - it's all about Swindon!
