Letter from Olive Matthews
WITH reference to Philip Cullum's letter of May 13 regarding the quality of customer services in GP Surgeries. I would like to say that only this morning I rang New Court Surgery in Wootton Bassett to ask if I could have an appointment with my doctor after spending a very painful and worrying night with a dreadful cough and general debilitation.
The receptionist could not have been more helpful and fixed up for me to see my GP as an emergency at the end of morning surgery today. The receptionists are always so helpful and will phone for a taxi to take me home and if necessary will send my prescription across to the chemist for home delivery. I never have to wait long for an appointment and the doctors and staff are all first class, helpful and courteous. We are so lucky to have such a good surgery in Wootton Bassett and as an old lady I am more than grateful.
I would also like to praise Bradies Taxi, they are so kind and helpful both for appointments at the hospital, surgery visits and shopping.
