SWINDON'S ghost busters are looking for haunted houses to feature in their new book.
The Paranormal Site Investigators use scientific tests to try to find the truth behind the town's ghost stories and plan to publish Haunted Swindon, a complete guide to all of Swindon's spirits next spring.
Co-author Nicky Sewell said: "The Haunted Swindon book is trying to record a census of all known hauntings in Swindon, past and present, vividly real and folklore.

"The book is almost finished but we want to appeal to the people of Swindon and surrounding towns and villages to come forward in case we have missed their case.
"We recognise the need to provide anonymity to private houses for ethical reasons. We are also still available to provide help and support to anyone who feels their home or workplace is haunted."
Anyone living in a haunted house can contact PSI through HauntedSwindon. com or by calling 0845 652 1529.

My house seems to attract spirits at this time of year, and which seem to congregate in one particular piece of furniture. Yes, it's true...my Tantalus, (not the son of Zeus, but a rather attractive and lockable cabinet), is occupied by spirits... it would seem that it is an occult tantulus so I'm already organising a brave band of folk to pop round and help me exorcise it....with no special skills needed other than the ability to swallow. I'm confident that it will be empty of spirits by January the 2nd 2008.
