New love for actress Billie

BILLIE Piper has fallen in love Down Under.

The former Bradon Forest School pupil is reported to be considering relocating to Australia, after falling for the continent.

The 25-year-old, who is reprising her role as Rose Tyler in hit BBC show Doctor Who on Saturday, visited Australia several years ago.

And, although she has a home in Sussex with husband Laurence Fox, the actress is seriously considering a move to the other side of the world.

"I loved visiting Australia a few years ago," said Billie. "And I've love to have another home there.

"I don't think I could live there permanently though. I'd miss home too much."

The former Purton schoolgirl is making waves in Australia for her soon-to-screen TV role of a high-class prostitute in show Confessions Of A Call Girl.

Earlier this year she narrowly missed out on a major drama award for her role in the racy series.

Billie, who is currently expecting her first baby with her second husband Laurence, also revealed that her battle with anorexia is ongoing.

That is despite the intense fitness regime she underwent for her raunchy onscreen portrayal.

"I was just very aware of the fact that I was going to be naked a lot of the time," she said.

"And I didn't want to have to think about that as well as the fact that I was doing endless sex scenes.

"So I did quite a bit of running.

"When I feel that my life is out of control I start clutching at straws and those straws all relate to my weight or my health."

Just a few weeks ago Billie said she had feared she had lost her chance of cracking America.

She said her role as Belle De Jour in Diary Of A Call Girl might have scuppered any career she could had have in the US, because of American prudishness over the nude scenes.

Billie, who is busy filming a second series of the drama, said: "Someone said the other day What A-list stars get their t**s out?' "And then I started thinking Oh my God, what have I done? I've ruined my future career.'"

l Doctor Who will be on BBC 1 at 6.40pm on Saturday

What a load of utter bilge. Yet again the Adver team are trying to make a story out of nothing. I cut my lawn tonight and made a cracking tea for me and Mrs Grimaldi. Can I have a reporter pop round in the morning, so I can give him the full details? Useless!

At least of she went to Aus we would'nt see any more pointless articles about Billie Piper trivia dressed up as news in the Adver. Stop press Billie likes vegemite shock.

There could be a slight problem here, Australia has a strict points system, based on what someone has to offer the country, I don't think being a soft **** star (remember she was nominated for an award), or a fictional Doctor Who character actually qualifies.

How many more non-stories about Horseface can we expect in the next few months? I guess we'll have weekly updates on the size of her bump and maybe a three page special on the scan.

I would gladly put up with vapid stories about a TV actress if the Adver would swear not to print anymore pointless commentaries on contemporary TV and sports from the letters of Nicholas E Gough. But both... it's just too much to endure.

sn5007, I qualified my post as you can see or are you denying she was nominated for a soft porne (I know it doesn't have an e) award. As for her being a good actress, that is of course your opinion. Aside from that what else do you consider is incorrect in my post. You clearly weren't here last night 50 people all eating and drinking, last Saturday similar numbers. But of course no one comes here.

Terence -how uncanny! I've just penned a letter to the Adver Ed! re the ramblings and banal content of letters from N E Gough, Les Fox and a couple of others -where is that man coming from? I tell you his nonsense comments re Euro 2008 and the literal translation of a German players surname nearly had me reaching for the loaded pistol! Altohugh it's all about free speech I've requested the editorial team be a little more selective in what they publish as repetitive puerile tripe of the Gough/Fox kind is totally indigestible!

It is quite amazing how some seem to have two letters posted together. And others take days if not weeks. But that's life. I use to have two friends many years ago who would you believe wrote the letters page for Fab 208 magazine, when I say wrote, that literally was their job, writing letters.

Captain, UKIP have to we have a resident stalker who writes all the time, little of which is true. He is on a one man quest, to achieve what I don't quite know but he keeps plugging away. Mind you it keeps us in the public eye.

Malkym - :) Good that you sent the letter. Mr Gough certainly is an odd fish, I often wonder what type of person would sit down and write letters like that to the local paper.

Oh I see, how strange. Still I suppose he has little else to do on the ward of his secure mental health assylum, or perhaps its just a sad lonely and bitter person with too much time on their hands....
