TWIN Ian Makgill has made a heartfelt plea to residents in Wiltshire for help finding his brother Robert after an unconfirmed sighting in Chippenham.

Robert Makgill, 45, from Bruton in Somerset, went missing on July 15 but has not been seen since July 8.

Since he was reported missing, Avon and Somerset police office have followed up more than 200 enquiries as to his whereabouts without success.

An unconfirmed sighting was reportedly made between July 9 and 13.

Robert, who works as a DJ and is known by friends and music fans as Dazzler, has connections in Wiltshire and London as well as Somerset.

He is described as having a closely shaved head, some facial hair and is 6ft 2ins tall and of slight/skinny build.

His twin brother, Ian, said: “We’re appealing for him to get in touch with missingpeople.org.uk, anonymously if he does not want to speak to anyone to let us know he’s okay.

“People in Chippenham have been amazing so far; they have been really rallying round, putting up posters and sharing on Facebook. We are incredibly grateful for all the help we have received from residents so far.”

Mr Makgill, whose disappearance is described as completely out of character, was staying with friends having attended a wedding back in July before leaving to return to work in London.

A Facebook page, Finding Robert Makgill, has gained over 1,500 likes.
