Swindon Advertiser:

COOLER temperatures are set to give Swindon and Wiltshire a chilly feel today, according to forecasters.

The Met Office is predicting maximum temperatures of around 16C, with the chance of showers.

"A chilly, dry and bright start for many, leading to a day of isolated light scattered showers, but with some good sunny intervals," a forecaster said.

"Feeling rather cool, with a northerly breeze but pleasant in any sunshine."

This evening, he said, was expected to stay dry, with variable amounts of cloud.

"Some clearer spells will develop allowing temperatures to fall into single figures. Winds easing. Minimum temperature, 10C."

Tomorrow would be largely dry, with isolated showers, he added.
