THE Royal United Hospital in Bath has announced that an access road to some public car parks will be temporarily closed.
The road to the right of the main entrance roundabout will be closed from Monday-Wednesday, August 8-10, while further essential work is carried out during construction of the hospital’s new 300-space car park, opening in September.
Access to the main entrance drop-off point, bus stops, Blue Badge car park, car park 1A and the Princess Anne maternity wing car park (P4) will be unaffected.
For all other car parks on site, patients, visitors and staff will have to use the Penn Hill Road entrance.
Diversion and information signs will be in place.
The hospital has apologised for any inconvenience caused to visitors or patients.
