Film review – The Truman Show The Truman show (1998) is a movie where in which Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) is living a fake life. As he was an unwanted pregnancy he was adopted by the network and raised on set which meant the audience came to love him at a very early age.

Why do we have Fashion Weeks? London, Paris and Spain, just some of the fashion weeks held. With models too skinny to be normal and clothes that are weird enough to come from outer space, why would anyone in the age range of 11 to 18 buy the clothes? They are not old enough to earn a living and as the clothes that have been exhibited are going to be very expensive when they go on sale, students will have no chance of being able to buy them. This means that their hopes may have been set high and this realisation of the price will bring them out of the clouds and crashing back down to earth.

Why work experience is a good thing... Many people do not enjoy the thought of spending time in the workplace and having to put lots of time and energy into it with the days being longer than the average school day. But where else are you going to get the same experience again? Only when you get to University will you have the chance to go out on placement and not everyone always gets that chance.
