Wootton Bassett win Salisbury Festival Shield

Wootton Bassett Under 8s won the Salisbury Festival Shield recently.
The formidable attack of Ben Cunningham and Kyle Mountford were backed up by Georgina Richardson, Sampson Balmer and Charlie Butt.
Bassett met Welsh side Llantwit Fardre in the final and scored three tries apiece, Bassett triumphing having scored the first try.
The under 14s ran in five tries in a 25-12 win over Marlborough. Sean Norris (2), Laurence Beal, Tom Mutton (2) crossed the whitewash.
The under 15s comfortably beat Bradford on Avon 30-7. Elye Darragh, Dan Graham, Charlie Endicott (2), Scott Douglas and Tom Davies all touched down.
