SNOOKER: Symes takes on world's best

Jodie Symes will take on the cream of world talent in the women’s UK Championship on Saturday.
The Swindon youngster is in action on her home tables at Jesters and will learn her draw at 9.15am on the day, with play to start at 10am.
World number two Maria Catalano has been installed as favourite for the event, the third leg of seven on the 2012/13 World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association tour.
Catalano could potentially snatch the world number one spot from the absent Reanne Evans if results go her way.
