ANDY Williams will be out of action for at least two weeks with a knee injury, manager Paolo Di Canio revealed this afternoon.

The striker hobbled off just before half-time during the 4-1 victory over Yeovil on Saturday after a collision with Glovers goalkeeper Marek Stech and will undergo a scan later today in a bid to discover the extent of the damage.

However, Di Canio said his frontman will be absent for a fortnight, whatever the results, but the Swindon boss reported no new problems ahead of the visit of Brentford tomorrow.

“This afternoon he is going to have a scan and we will see what damage he has got. I hope it is the minimum, but even if there is nothing big it is a minimum of two weeks he has to rest," he said.

“The rest of the lads are okay so we’re happy. We’re not happy every time someone goes out with a problem but all the rest of the lads are okay.

“Tommy Miller and we know now Andy Williams are out. The others are ready for the game."
