SWINDON Town Ladies signed off for Christmas in the best possible way as they came from behind to win 7-2 at Keynsham Town Dev.
The Wiltshire side slipped behind after only five minutes, but responded well and went in at half-time 2-1 up thanks to goals from Michelle Rich and Abby Picton.
Swindon started the second half brightly as both Picton and Rich doubled their individual tallies to make it 4-1, and didn’t let up as Chyna Gillings marked her debut in style as she slotted home to make it 5-1.
Kirsty Shell added a sixth, and after Keynsham pulled one back from a free-kick, Gillings added her second to complete the scoring.
The victory came in the club’s last game of 2012, and they return to action on January 6 with an FA Cup Second Round clash with Exeter City LFC.
