SWINDON TOWN: Risser signs on at Aldershot
4:07pm Monday 7th January 2013 in Sport
Oliver Risser has joined Aldershot
OLIVER Risser has signed for Aldershot following his release from Swindon Town.
The Namibian international, who left the County Ground by "mutual consent" earlier today, has penned a deal until the end of the season at the EBB Stadium.
Shots manager Dean Holdsworth said: "I am delighted with the signing of Oliver. He is a strong, adaptable player who will fit in well with the squad.
"He also played a valuable part in Swindon Town’s championship winning side last season and will provide excellent experience for us. This is a good acquisition and I am delighted with this news”.
Risser arrived in England in the summer of 2011 and made 40 appearances for the Robins, scoring four goals.
He spent the first half of this season out on loan at Stevenage after finding first-team opportunities at the County Ground hard to come by.

---.
I'm assuming that any pay-off is not included in our wages for the remainder of the season and that this gives PDC a bit more to play with now as opposed to the loan deal.
