OLIVER Pickett scored Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC’s only goal in their 1-1 draw with Croft Juniors Blue in UNDER 9 DIVISION 2.

Despite both sides creating numerous chances, the teams had to settle for a point apiece.

Three second half goals from Luke Robins, Adam Pryor and Tyler Hughes ensured that Liden Community picked up their first win since the end of September - 3-1 over Ramsbury Blue.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 1

TOM Ponting celebrated the new year in the perfect fashion with a hat-trick for Liden Community in their 4-2 win at FC Chippenham A.

Ponting’s first-half brace gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at the interval and the forward registered again just after the break to seemingly put Liden out of sight.

Chippenham pulled two goals back to cause Liden a scare, but Tobias Lango rounded off the win for the away side.

Greenmeadow Youth were made to wait until two minutes from time for their winner in a 1-0 success at Highworth Town Juniors H. Max Whitfield popped up in the dying moments to ensure Greenmeadow remain top of the table.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 2

WANBOROUGH Juniors began 2013 with an emphatic 10-1 win over Marlborough Youth.

There were a hat-trick of hat-tricks in this game, as Tom Moore, Jake Hammond and Jacob Chilcott each fired trebles. Will Sumner completed the victory.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 3

STRATTON Juniors A won 3-2 at Fairford Town Youth.

Peter Amoni handed Stratton the lead before Fairford levelled, but Max Garret regained the advantage for the visitors from a corner.

Again Fairford equalised but Stratton showed great resilience to claim all three points thanks to Ewan Burrows.

Stratton Juniors B enjoyed a more comfortable afternoon, easing to a 3-0 victory over Croft Juniors Blue.

Stratton went into half-time 2-0 in front thanks to goals from George Herbert and Max Lawlor, while Ryan Austen scored his first of the season to make it three after the break.

Highworth Town Juniors T started 2013 in style with a 4-1 away win at Wootton Bassett Town Yellow. A fine solo run and long range strike from Owen Pennock opened the scoring and further goals came from Tye Lennon, Cameron Hicks and Josh Uzzell.

UNDER 10 DIVISION 4

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors J beat Kingshill 5-0. Talli Demetrious started the scoring before James Whettam (2), Jack Dyer and Owen Baker-Smith added the others.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 1

ROBINS A got back to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Swindon Supermarine. Cameron Braganza-Osman (2), Jordan Murray, Harrison Mace and Jude Collins all found the net for Robins.

Jack Payne scored the solitary goal in a tightly contested game between Highworth Town Juniors H and Wootton Bassett.

The striker’s right-footed shot found the top corner midway through the second half to settle the match in Highworth’s favour.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 2

FERNDALE Rodbourne overcame Shaw Eagles 2-0 thanks to Colin Adams’ fine header and Danny Wade’s strike.

UNDER 11 DIVISION 3

Highworth Town Juniors C battled past Ferndale Rodbourne Lions 2-1. All of the goals came in the second period, as Noah Ferrison and Archie Bowman secured the points for Highworth.

UNDER 12 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Rangers started the new year with an 8-1 away win over Liden Community.

Charlie McCuish hit a hat-trick for Rangers, Harvey Coster bagged a brace and there were also goals for Jamie Biles, Reuben Reeve and Daniel Jones.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 1 (9V9)

WOOTTON Bassett White recorded their second clean sheet of the season with a 4-0 win over Lydiard Youth.

Two goals from Justin Hemedy and one each from Zac Thompson and Todd Goddard sealed the victory.

UNDER 13 DIVISION 2 (11V11)

WROUGHTON remain top of the table after defeating Wickham 7-3.

Tyler Fitchett, Sam Roberts, Riegan Cook, Matt Lawson, Sean Blunsdon and Joel Ellis all got their names on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Wootton Bassett Yellow maintained their 100 per cent home record and achieved a seventh consecutive clean sheet in their 10-0 win over Malmesbury Youth.

Bassett’s goals came from Lewis Cholod (2), Tom Miller(2), Joe Fenton(2), Charlie Emmerson, Jamie Byrom, George Staten and Euan Burke from the penalty spot.

Goals from Jake Marsh and Harrison Lea helped Greenmeadow Youth edged past Blunsdon Colts A 2-1.

UNDER 14 DIVISION 1

SWINDON Supermarine got 2013 off to a good start with a 4-0 victory over Liden Community A.

Louis O’Shea bagged a brace for Supermarine, and there were also goals from Biagio Mazzotta and Alessandro Serratore.

UNDER 14 DIVISION 2

Liden Community B secured their second consecutive win as they defeated Cirencester Town 5-2. Liden's Mark Siaw fired a hat-trick, while there were also goals from Matthew Clark and Jordan Leach.

UNDER 14 DIVISION 3

SEVENFIELDS United went down 6-3 to Shaw despite going a goal up when Owen Lewis lobbed the hosts’ keeper. Jordon Westfield and Connor Seymour netted Sevenfields’ other goals.

UNDER 15 DIVISION 1

A DEPLETED Brinkworth Cats team, who were missing key players to injury and illness, were made to battle hard to get a point from a 2-2 draw with AFC Newbury.

Ryan Collins was recruited from Cats’ under 14 team and helped set up Danny Wykes for his equalising goal.
