Marine ladies start year with a bang

SUPERMARINE Ladies got off to the perfect start in 2013 with a 38-5 weekend win at Rosslyn Park.
Debbie Mason got Marine off the mark before flanker Claire Chard powered over the line after a neat passage of phase possession.
The hosts grabbed a try back but that only spurred on their guests more. Chard went on to complete her hat-trick, number eight Amelia Buckland-Harry also got in on the act and Claire Legg rounded off the tryscoring. Scrum-half Nat Williams contributed eight points with the boot.
Next up for Supermarine is a tough trip to London Welsh.
