PAOLO Di Canio will be in attendance as the Samsung Win A Pro Contract competition comes to its conclusion at Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road ground tonight.

The semi-final, which took place at the County Ground before Christmas, saw 22 hopefuls whittled down to 11 by Di Canio and Orient boss Russell Slade.

Both managers will each award a contract to one player based on their performance this week. The match, against a Leyton Orient XI, kicks off at 7pm and entry is free.

Di Canio said: “All the finalists have done well to make it this far. They should be proud of their achievements.

“I am looking for a player who will fit into my current squad and improve as a footballer. He must have a good attitude and be willing to learn. There is an amazing prize on offer. The players will have to work hard to show that they deserve it.”

Meanwhile, Swindon Town’s trip to Doncaster on Monday, April 1 has been selected to be screened live by Sky Sports.

The fixture at the Keepmoat Stadium will now kick-off at 12.15pm. The Robins will receive £10,000 as part of the agreement, while Doncaster - as the home team - will take £30,000.
