SWINDON boss Paolo Di Canio is expecting an improved showing from Shrewsbury when the two sides meet at the County Ground tomorrow.

A late Simon Ferry goal secured all three points when the Robins travelled to Shropshire in September, for a game in which Town secured victory despite not being at their best.

Since then Di Canio’s side have cemented a spot in the play-off places, and although Shrewsbury remain towards the lower end of table the Italian believes they have improved.

“They change since the day we played there and beat them 1-0, especially in the back and the middle of the field,” he said.

“It will be a physical battle because the fact they drew six times in eight games, it means they are solid.

“It is true they have already concerned seven goals in the first 10 minutes and seven goals in the last five minutes.

“If we are like at Bournemouth with the same determination and less mistakes, there is no chance for them if we play as we did in the last few matches.”
