Howell still in hunt for Abu Dhabi title

DAVID Howell carded an error-free round of four-under-par to keep himself in the hunt for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship title heading into the final day.

The Broome Manor pro sunk birdies at the second fifth, ninth and 11th holes in the United Arab Emirates and is four shots off the lead in a tie for fifth.

Howell's fellow countryman Justin Rose leads the field on 12-under, hotly pursued by Wales' Jamie Donaldson and Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen (both 10-under).

Playing alongside Scot Richie Ramsay, Howell begins his final round tomorrow at 8.32am GMT (12.32pm local time).
