SWINDON TOWN: Miller warns Town not to get arrogant
6:00am Tuesday 29th January 2013 in Sport By Sam Morshead
Town's Tommy Miller
TOMMY Miller has spoken of the potential dangers Swindon Town face if they allow arrogance to creep into their game, as the Robins look to extend their two-month unbeaten record at Leyton Orient tonight.
Town have not tasted defeat since the 1-0 reverse at Notts County on November 24 and are currently full of self-belief, according to Miller, as they target promotion to the Championship.
However, the midfielder has been around the game long enough to know not to get carried away and he brought the example of the FA Cup home humiliation at the hands of non-league Macclesfield as an example of what can go wrong when confidence turns into cockiness.
“I think the minute that you get arrogant you get kicked in the teeth,” he said. “You’ve seen against Macclesfield when we weren’t at the races and were maybe too confident and they turned us over.
“You can’t do that in any game and, to be fair, since then we’ve been superb and we’ve got that bit of continuity and we’re flying at the minute. The confidence is high, the lads are loving training, everything is going well and hopefully we can keep doing that.
“(Staying unbeaten) builds confidence. We’re going into every game home and away wanting to win the game but not to get beat. You get a bit of momentum and the lads are flying.”

The way we're playing if we get past tonight I can see us going unbeaten until the end of the season....
...wishful thinking I know.
