STFC website says it's on Tuesday 19th Feb and the Adver says it's 12th Feb.

If it's the 19th then there is a problem for the MK Dons re-arrangment as they are booked up until after Easter unless we play them on the 19th.
----.
If Tranmere is 12th and MK Dons 19th then that'll be 4 straight Tuesdays... ouch!

And that is eacatly what Tranmere would like , a backlog for us and get their strikers fit again , even more reason to stick it to them . Orient tonight bit of a long Poke but need our footie fix COYR

I know it is the same source but the Tranmere site is saying the 19th as well -
That would mean either a pre-Easter match v MK Dons or a mid-April fixture (prob 9th April)....helps us if they are still in the mix by then as they've got 2 games a week for all bar the 19th Feb between now and then....they've got to pray for no more Cup replays.

I see the Adver have HALF corrected it now.

Cheers Matey!!....Get out on that pitch and keep it covered/forked as the rain is heading your way VERY soon....we need to play tonight regardless of the result being honest - but can't see us losing this one!!

I think the phrase cheats shouldn't prosper is justified, I hope that's the case when Tranmere have all their players fit whilst we have to play 6 games, Saturday - Tuesday for the next 3 weeks.

Maybe the word "cheat" is a little too harsh, but just a shame that one or two of our regular posters do not see it that way. I was in Birkenhead Friday afternoon and Saturday and there was no ground frost. All the local fixtures were played and only Tranmere in the whole of the NW had the game called off with an early inspection by a local ref.

Those that do not see Moore used a bit of gamesmanship to make sure last Saturday's game could not be played are at best naive if they think dirty tricks are not part of his DNA. His team needed time to recover from a tough encounter at Brentford and now with a 3 week break with games in hand, they will have their best team available whilst we will be stretched with the number of games we have to play, which they have used to their advantage.

I really hope we give them a good stuffing on the 19th, another reason we have to get out of this league and not have to tolerate the behaviour of a club that stoop to this level to gain an advantage.
