Luke Rooney could join Paul Benson at Cheltenham Town
SWINDON Town winger Luke Rooney is a transfer target of Cheltenham Town.
The 22-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the County Ground, could move to Whaddon Road on loan before the end of the January transfer window.
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates has was keen to keep his cards close to his chest when questioned by the Gloucestershire Echo on the matter this morning, but he did not deny that he is close to signing the former Gillingham man.
