Town cut prices for Hartlepool clash Town cut prices for Hartlepool clash

SWINDON Town have made big reductions to ticket prices for the visit of Hartlepool this weekend.

After the success of the club's ticket initiative against Carlisle United, which saw over 9,000 attend the match, the Robins are expecting another big attendance for the game - which takes place this Saturday with kick-off at 3pm.

Ticket prices have been reduced to £15 for adults and concessions and £10 for juniors aged 15 and under.

Prices are the same for all areas of the ground and will be available up until kick-off on the day of the match. Call the STFC Box Office on 0871 876 1993 to book in advance.

We need to get as many casual fans as possible there on Saturday and raise the roof for Paolo. A lot could happen between now and then lets hope all of it positive, come Saturday night if results go our way we could be sat top with new owners and new belief.

You don't have to attend every game to support the Town, I go when it suits me - what would you rather I do? Go to no games whatsoever??
I support town, but also support another championship team, a team that on average charge £17 a ticket - do the maths. It does not mean that I cannot comment on this site, does it?!
I am still a town supporter....
The reason btw, I also support the other team is that my father lives there and we enjoy going to the games together (& jack walker's money!! Lol)

Not sure how you can possibly support two teams but can't question the commitment. Cost is an issue and I think we are too expensive. Don't blame you going elsewhere.

It worse when we/they play each other!
Many people support more than one team. Look at all the Manure supporters!! I know several that follow Swindon often.

I am sure you are right mate. Can't see how it's done as I am a Wiltshire boy and so can't support anyone else but if it means we pick up some fans who can't get to their other teams games then all well and good. Swindon as a town has a lot of second and third generation inhabitants and so it is only natural to support where your family is from.

Not being funny, but if we are so stuck in the mire financially should we cut prices, unless they are expecting the takeover to be agreed and they want as many in for the new owners as possible.

I work in Brum, Cov slashed their prices to five pound a ticket and were selling shirts for £5 each last night, they sold 28,000 tickets, but I did raise a laugh at the Cov fans today saying they will win the next leg 4-0
