Howell misses out on Premier title

Swindon's David Howell
SWINDON'S David Howell and his Punjab Lancers team finished one shot off victory at the inaugural Pearls Golf Premier League in India today.
Howell, Thaworn Wiratchant, Gaganjeet Bhullar and Rashid Khan fired 33-under during the three-day, 42-hole tournament at Aamby Valley.
That put them on the same score as the Delhi Darts with the Uttarakhand Lions side of Darren Clarke, Chapchai Nirat, Mukesh Kumar and Shankar Das taking the overall win.
Broome Manor pro Howell will return to European Tour action at the Tshwane Open in South Africa on February 28.
