Provided that the guys at the advertiser haven't fallen asleep at the PCs given their 24 hour news coverage I'm hoping that this will be up and posted on Sunday - Great job done by the Advertiser by the way - not been an easy time as very much famine and feast of news.

I've written this prior to Saturday's game but I have no doubt that we are still riding high on top of League 1 after a tricky match v yet 'ANOTHER' team with a new manager….at least we went one better and had TWO new managers, an interim fitness coach, a new board, a new wall and the same old reliable Curly!…he should have been sat on the bench on Saturday!

Like many I remember the 8-0 thrashing we handed out to Bury in days gone by and am hoping we can extend our win % to almost 75% by 10pm on Tuesday….I'll be tanking it back from my new job for this one as I truly believe we're watching something very special at the moment - especially given the fact that we won't have filled our bench for 5 games by now. We also haven't lost since that horrible 0-1 defeat in 1977 - which I remember all too well for some strange reason - and I don't expect that undefeated run to change come Tuesday night Yet again, like most STFC fans, I can only keep on congratulating our players for keeping their focus and for keeping the dream alive……THIS IS ALL FOR YOU now guys!!!!….Hold hose scarves up HIGH and COME ON YOUUUUUU REDSSSSS!!!!!!
