PURTON Reserves came from a goal down to book their place in the last four of the Senior KO Cup.

Albert Dearing’s men triumphed 4-2 at Southbrook and will now meet either Bradford or Vale of Pewsey for a place in the final.

Southbrook scored early but Adam Mayhew’s deflected shot after the break brought Purton level.

Terry Moore then crossed for Devan Bryan to bury Purton’s second and then the former notched an effort himself.

Bryan added a fourth with 10 minutes left before Southbrook grabbed a second late on.

Dearing said: “Southbrook have only played one game since Christmas, so that was always going to have an effect.”

Chippenham booked their path in the semis with a 4-0 thrashing of Marlborough and now face Wiltshire Premier leaders Wilts Calne Town.

Nalgo Wanderers defeated Malmesbury Victoria Reserves 3-2 in the Junior KO Cup to set up a final with either Marshfield or Wootton Bassett Dev.

In the Premier Division, Bradford gained ground on the leaders with a narrow 1-0 victory over SKS Blyskawica.

Wroughton were on the end of a 3-1 defeat at home to Devizes Reserves and Corsham beat Vale of Pewsey 4-2.

Beversbrook lost 4-2 at Shrewton while Ludgershall Sports and Trowbridge Town shared a 1-1 draw.

In Division One, Wootton Bassett Dev won 3-1 and Ashton Keynes took a narrow 1-0 win at Chippenham Park Reserves.
